Laptop for Teachers Program 2025: 4th Round & Deadline Rules

In 2025, the "Laptop for Teachers" program was expanded with further updates, including changes to eligibility criteria, clarification of redemption deadlines, and revised technical requirements for the hardware. The most critical piece of information remains that all vouchers worth PLN 2,500 gross must be redeemed no later than December 31, 2025.

At the same time, a fourth round of applications was introduced, allowing individuals who were previously unable to participate due to formal reasons to apply.

IV round of the "Laptop for Teachers" Program – who can apply?

According to the amended regulations, an additional call for applications runs from October 22 to November 21, 2025. It is targeted at teachers, educators, and other pedagogical staff who were eligible for support but did not receive it in previous editions.

The new rules also cover individuals who could not submit an application for reasons specified in the Act of July 7, 2023, on Support for the Development of Digital Competences of Teachers, including those who were:

On health leave, rehabilitation allowance, or inactive status;
Suspended from duty under the Teachers' Charter;
On unpaid leave lasting at least 14 days;
Released from the obligation to perform work under the Trade Unions Act.

Thanks to the amendment, these individuals can submit an application and receive a voucher in the 4th round of the program.

Who is eligible to receive support?

The program is open to individuals employed under an employment relationship as of September 30, 2023, who have not previously received funding. The support covers, among others:

Educators and teachers conducting classes in grades I–III of primary schools (public and non-public);
Educators and teachers conducting classes in grades IV–VIII of primary schools (public and non-public);
Educators employed in art schools with public school status;
Other pedagogical staff in primary and secondary schools, general education, and art schools.

Pre-school teachers and individuals employed in adult schools, post-secondary schools, stage II sectoral vocational schools, and adult general secondary schools remain excluded from the program.

How does the application process work?

Applications can be submitted from October 22 to November 21, 2025, through the principal of the school where the applicant is currently employed (or was employed as of September 30, 2023, if the application applies to an earlier period).

The process follows this path:

Submitting the application to the school appropriate for the place of employment.
Verification of documents by the school principal.
Transfer of applications to the governing authority (organ prowadzący), which prepares a consolidated summary.
Submission of the consolidated application in the ICT system available at: [https://www.gov.pl/web/gov/zglos-nauczyciela-do-programu-laptop-dla-nauczyciela]

The deadline for the governing authority to submit the consolidated application is December 22, 2025.

Updates to the data of eligible individuals can be made in the Employee Zone of the Educational Information System (SIO). In the case of non-public schools that do not have an SIO account, the update survey is filled out by one of the institutions of the respective governing authority.

Conditions for awarding the PLN 2,500 voucher

Submitting an application requires making a statement in which the applicant confirms that:

They have not previously received a laptop, browser laptop (Chromebook), or financial grant funded by public funds;
All data provided in the application is true and accurate.

This declaration is made under penalty of perjury for providing false information.

What is the voucher redemption deadline?

According to current regulations, December 31, 2025, is the absolute and non-negotiable deadline for voucher redemption. After this date, the voucher code expires and can no longer be used.

This rule applies regardless of the program edition—both for participants of the first rounds and for beneficiaries of the 4th call in 2025.

Important points to remember:

The purchase of equipment must be made through an authorized seller;
Payment must be made in full as a single transaction—installment purchases are not permitted;
The voucher does not cover equipment purchased prior to the voucher being granted.

Why you shouldn't wait until the last minute

Redeeming the voucher at the end of the year may be difficult for several reasons:

Limited equipment availability – Demand for electronics traditionally surges at the end of the year, which may lead to inventory shortages;
Time-consuming verification – The purchase must be processed by an authorized point of sale and fulfill specific formal requirements;
Smaller selection – Purchasing early guarantees greater availability of models that meet program requirements.

Current technical hardware requirements

In 2025, updates were made to the minimum technical requirements for devices covered by the program. These modifications aim to ensure hardware durability, high performance, and user comfort. According to the new guidelines, laptops and Chromebooks for teachers should meet the following technical parameters:

RAM: min. 16 GB (or 8 GB unified memory in macOS)
SSD Storage: min. 256 GB (512 GB recommended)
Processor / Performance: min. 1,400 points in the CrossMark benchmark or 5,700 points in the Procyon Office Productivity benchmark
Screen: min. 13", Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 px), brightness ≥ 250 cd/m²
Battery: min. 6 hours of operation
Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) or higher, Bluetooth 5.0 or higher
Ports: min. 2 connectors, including at least one with video support (HDMI or USB-C)

Detailed technical requirements can be found in the Regulation of the Minister of Education of February 19, 2025, amending the regulation on basic conditions necessary for schools and teachers to carry out educational, care, and pedagogical tasks and curricula.

Purchases under the program can only cover new laptops or browser laptops (Chromebooks). Tablets, desktop computers, and accessories (e.g., bags, mice, software) are excluded from the program.
